Gallery 141 VERGE raw opening postponed, the vision forward

It is where the art and the music merge.

In light of the recent tragedy at Rick's place of work at the Navy Yard we are postponing our plan to be open to facebook friends for a raw opening of our new space on Music Friday September 20th.  It has been a difficult week, but we are not discouraged.  The vision forward is a bright one and we are wholeheartedly looking forward to more great gatherings with music and art.

Where?

It is on the street with no name, or rather with no street sign, Tobacco Alley in Lancaster, PA

The Vision Forward

The idea is to host performance driven events with bands and singer songwriters who can fill the house and we look forward to giving back to the many talented musicians who have supported us for all those years of music and art on Water Street.  Some events will be ticketed, some will be walk in.  The space was formerly a boxing gym, soundproofed with rubber floors, it is perfectly suited for recording.  There is space for my studio, and an office.  It is intimate and professional and fits us like a glove.  We have some great neighbors who are creating a gallery studio space as well so look forward to the Tobacco Arts District to come. 

In the mean time, we will be meeting with friends there, working on the space, and transitioning from our home in Arlington, VA.
